Hi all.... I've been surfing this site for awhile, finally decided to join. You all seem like a great bunch.

I've already started my build (in fact closer to being finished that starting).

I have a question: Is it still a Teardrop without the galley?
I'm building w/o one, gives more interior space and I have a full set-up kitchen that I've used tent camping for years.

Glad to be a part of the group

In my opion it is the shape not the contents that make any trailer a teardrop. Post the pic's and you will get 6000 more opinions.

P.S. Welcome aboard

At the top there is a Help With Photos Link along with other great links. Try that.

I like to use Photobucket.com It easy to copy clip a link from there and just paste in you post. Underneath you pictures there is a IMG Code Just click it, it automatically copies it to your clipboard. Then paste it here like this....

Looks like you have got yourself a woody, so far. Years ago when I got involved I was told that a true teardrop trailer had to have a bed inside, was low enough so you couldn't stand in it and it had to have a rear galley. outside under the hatchlid. So you cook in a seperate, full-set-up-kitchen........works for me. Good luck on your build and take more pics.

I plan to keep it a woody. Never built anything larger than a dulcimer.
Not really going by any plans (nor do I really know what I'm doing), just "borrowing" an idea or two from all the great ones that I've see. I've added a few more pics:

Image to the playground. Looks like a great td to me. You are doing a great job putting it together.

As for the galley---make what suits you and don't worry about the name.

I do hope the axle is not in it's permanent position. From this picture is looks really far back.

Uh we like to tease some too.

To embed photos you click on the thumbnail in the album, copy the url of the big un. Come back to the post and push the IMG button, paste and close tags button.

I don't mind a jab or two :D

Yeah...I've been thinking about that....it started it's life as a boat trailer.
as I said...work in progress. No doubt I'll be asking lots of questions.
