true relationship test

Postby 2morrows » Sun Jun 08, 2008 3:37 pm

hey y'all. So my fiance and I are getting married in less than a month, and we decided that our wedding present for each other would be to build a camper together to replace the 1982 Palomino pop up we got off of craigslist last year (it's older than we are :-) ) We are planning to build a winter warrior type design with some modifications. We figured this would be a great test of our relationship. if we can build a camper, and still want to be together at the end, we will know we were meant to be together. So wish us luck, and answer our questions we post cause there will be a lot of them! Thanks!!

Image to the playground Morrows. Now some advice from an elder. 8) 8) Runnnnnnn Runnnnnnnnnn for the hills both of you.

Oh too late---seriously, building is not a good test of your future unless you are both builders and at the same level and have the same style.

It will be a good test of how well you give into each other when it matters and how much you can laugh at the big and little things---together. ;)

Congrats on the engagement!

Congratulations on your engagement!

My fiance (hinermad - David) and myself are new to this forum and also building our camper. We have been engaged for just under a year.

Enjoy each moment!

Welcome, and good luck!
My wife's not much a craftsman, but she loves to help out in the shop. Mostly she helps by telling me where I set down that @#$%@ tape measurer that I lost for the fourth time!
