newbie of n/w indiana

hello all my name is Dan i jumped in a little quick last week about the sheet alum.oops
i saw my first tear at an rv show.[ i had to have one.]my chance came this year when a tree came down on my popup.I have striped it and i am starting on my 5x10 tear using my old camper frame.
i hope to add some pic to show my progress. And thanks for the feedback on my alum question

Sorry to hear about the disaster but am glad your building a tear. I'm looking forward to your progress. Let us know if you have any questions. This forum is a great source of information (under statement) Keep us all happy and slip in some photos.

P.S. I'm starting my second trailer with a popup trailer. It will be 6.5' by 10 though.

Hi Dan, welcome to the board, (again). Do see if you can contact some teardroppers in your area, there are a number of them there in the central states. Looking at one is worth a ton of pics. Good luck on your build, and hope you will continue to ask any questions regarding your new effort. Attending a TD gathering would even be more helpful, I'm sure.

Or numbers are sure growing :thumbsup: Ask lots of questions post lots of pictures and most of all enjoy. Don't forget to check out the midwest section for gatherings we had 3 this year and one coming up in a couple weeks at Salamonie.

Pop up frames are great that's what mines built on also, 6'6"x11'6"
