Hello from Northeast Nebraska!

Hi,
I just found the site. It's just great. I have always been interested in Tears. I'm an avid woodworker and would love to build one. But like everything else I need to do my homework.

Best Regards,

Welcome to the forum!

If you haven't had a chance yet the Generic Benroy Plans in the link above is a good starting point. There is a tremendous amount of information and motivation on the forum. Sdtripper2's index has many previous post indexed to help when researching specific information. The Hall of Fame above left along with the personal Album of forum members will also provide many hours of planning and dreaming. Hope you are able to start your build soon.

Wow, deck99, that must be on the very highest level of a very large boat. An avid woodworker MUST build a woody, as soon as your homework chores are done, no question about it. Check out the hall of fame, as it will help you decide on shape, length and exterior. Good luck on your build, take pics and post em........Oh yes, welcome to the forum, glad you found us.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome.

Roly,
You read my mind. I am already in love with the total wood look. Your trailer looks great and I really like the look of 48Rob's cabin car!

This is gonna be fun.

Roly I thin the decks are numbered , going up as the "0" levels the 01-02-03 and so forth, going down 1-2-3 so it is a very deep boat, I don't think the Missouri river is that deep in Neb. or Ia. Jim G

 What he said. Woodies are fantastic when done by a real craftsman or a beginner! Look forward to seeing what you come up with.
