Hello people,

I trawled the web in search for some plans for a teardrop caravan, and stumbled across this forum. Just thought I would be polite and introduce myself before lurking around looking for advice/ideas.

*enter Rolling Stones melody here*..... "Pleased to meet you" :shake hands:

If you haven't found it yet the Hall of Fame in the link above and the personal albums of other forum members will yield many hours of ideas and motivation. You'll find the folks on the forum very helpful and knowledgeable in all areas of building a teardrop. Hope you are able to get started soon and enjoy your build.

Welcome to the forum, you will get plenty of help but all we ask for are pictures.

Interesting screenname, our old phone number ended with -0293. I had a hard time remembering it so I used "Zero-AXE" (the corresponding letters on the keypad) to remember it. It stuck and everyone ended up using my mnemonic.

Good luck with your build.

Hi Zeroaxe,

Welcome to the forum. If you get a chance check out the "Galley Gallery" 8) you can find it on the A-Z list. All you need is there. The link is at the top of this page sdtripper2's Index. I get into that page for hours at a time, it really does have all the infomation you could wish for. So much that it can make my head hurt :?   :applause:  :D :noyes:
My friends think I am mad but my psychiatrists thinks I am a real interesting case

Welcome aboard, where do you hail from, calling our travel trailers, caravans? Hmmm must be the UK or from OZ, eh? At any rate, you are welcome to join us, as we are a jolly bunch of designers, custom home-built creators and avid teardrop and TTT enthusiasts.

OH WOW!!! I've looked and looked; but I can't find the pics. Somebody I used to camp with a loooong time ago had a V-Dub body mounted on a custom frame that they camped in. Storage in the front and rear, and more than enough room to sleep inside when you don't have to worry about things like seats, shifter and hand brake!! That would look sweet behind the TV you are picking up!!
