Welcome to the group. I had a small farm in Carollton for a few years and have been to Medina several times. It is a nice area.

Dan, Thanks for the welcome.too. Glad the pics turned out ok. Like to surf with the computer, but just started to learn how to really run it. Just got the teardrop, was planning to build one and still am, but the way I am it would take me too long. Always finding something new and better to add to the plans, ha. Sure beats the old tent tho. Erv

Welcome to the board, Erv. With horns on the truck hood, an American flag proudly flying and the galley open for business, you are going to fit in just fine with the friendly teardrop crowd. That is a nice looking rig you have there. Now, what style do you plan on when you start your build?

Hi Roly, Ya I try to make my trucks one of a kind, you should see what is hanging under the back, ha. The tear we got is 5x10, love it so far. But I think I would go just a little bigger in length. Have a few pics I have drawn on paper ,but they change with every new idea I get, ha. Right now I am looking at getting a third tail light for it. JUST FINISH WORKING ON MY 78 FORD. Put picture of it in the gallery. At 8mpg it will not be in front of the tear to much tho. Erv

Thanks Mike, This one is store bought. The next one is going to be mine from the ground up. Have a lot of ideas and will get started on it this summer. Just wanted to start camping more to get away from the city and work. Erv

Been to just about every state park and most of the private camps. Jan and I have been togeither camping for 35 years, all in a tent. Have two boys that have kept us busy with other things, so we just got started again this last year. Tim is 23 and pretty much on his own, Jay is in his second year at Michigan, so we have some time to get back to camping. Tent got old pretty fast. We love to be outside, so a teardrop has always been planed. Just not enough time to get it started. Cant think of your friends park but I know we have been there a few times. Right now Ohio is putting some money back into the parks and they have really done a nice job on them. Best so far has been West Branch over to the east. Erv

Hi Erv and Jan,

Welcome to the forum. Glad you both decided to join us. Well, it looks like a nice looking trailer, what I can see of it. Hope you jump in and post
with the rest of us. I think most of us here gave up on tent camping, because the ground hurts too much, anymore. :)

See you around.
