So, after a while, sucking up all of my courage, I did indeed post a note, asking a very basic question regarding building a teardrop trailer. Wow, to my surprise, I got a hearty welcome and all kinds of advice, regarding the building of my proposed teardrop trailer. (A woodie, of course)
So, to all of your lurkers, just reading and checking out all of this information, I suggest that you log in, get involved and join the happy group of teardrop designers, builders and users. After all, all of us, were once one of you. Building or owning a teardrop, will surely enhance your interest in the out of doors This is the largest and most informative forum on the web. We even have free plans on this site.
There are no "dumb" questions, remember, many of us never knew anything about building or buying a teardrop trailer. The best thing that you can do for yourself is to log on, state your intentions, post a question, no matter how basic. Before you know it, you will become an honored member of our one-of-a-kind, teardrop builders, restorers, or buyers of our vintage little camping units. These are the little rigs that started the interest in camping comfortably forever, enjoying natures beauty, and sharing a campfire with like-minded folks, that never want to sleep on the ground again. Hey, anyone can own or build a teardrop trailer and you sure can't beat the gas milage.
So stop your lurking, post a "here I am" message, and the rest will be history. Enough said. Log on, introduce yourself and expect wonders! Who knows, it may change your life, as it did for many of us.
