Hello All!
First off, I would like to thank Mike for getting me hooked on this forum! I was initially attracted here by his webpage on the Weekender. I have always liked the compactness of teardrops, but the complex curves of conventional designs has made me concerned about my abilities to build one. As I paged through the Weekender, I decided maybe it was something I could handle!
The thing that appeals to me the most about this forum is the ability to have a TD that is TRULY one's own - totally customized. I am going to have to do a lot more reafing on here and create a list of the features that I want - pick and choose the best ideas!
I live in lovely Everett, Wa currently, but will probably be moving to south King County since my employer, the Lazy B, decided to transfer me 40 miles away!
I'm sure I will be doing LOTS of browsing here, gleaning ideas.

Howdy Dav,
There is a lot of good ideas. If you want to see some in person then there is the Spring Fling in Chehalis in a couple of weeks. Hope to see you around.

Welcome! Yep there are tons of great ideas and inspiring builds to study here. I'm also finding the weekender an attractive idea for a first attempt, it's straightforward design is appealing. I've found the more I study the more I am refining my own ideas, I bet you will too. Enjoy!
