ThreseaD, I have been a professional shrink for over 40 years. When my teardrop trailer tongue is lowered to the ground, I use the interior cushion as a slanted couch for my patients. Now you have already indicated that you need help, are nervous and excited and you definately need counseling. So, here is what I suggest, lie down right here, cross your arms over your heart, close your eyes and repeat after me.....
"I will totally disregard the nonsence that was written in the preceeding paragraph".
Welcome to the forum, where you have come to get helpful information and listen to those of us who have been where you are. Reworking a vintage trailer is an exercise in which you can bring back to life, a relic of the past and you can use it for many years in the future. I know, I just rebuilt a 63 Kenskill Standy and plan to use it for many more years. Good for you, having a friend that has the tools and is excited enough to be willing to help. Remember, take pics as you go along, post em and get feedback from former and present restorers. Good luck.
