Newbie from Oz

G'day from Oz.
I sure hope I'm in the right section to introduce myself.
I have been lurking around this site for so long that I know most of you already and I have only just figured how to join. (I had to create a whole new email address)
Anyway, I have already started my build with my chassis welded up. I have noted that it is almost a criminal offense NOT to post photos, so to avoid being stabbed with a blunt spoon, I will post some piccies as soon as I am able.
I live way out in western Queensland in a small country town that even the locals haven't heard of.
Thank you to all those people whose ideas I have stolen and incorporated into my design and I'm sure some of you will recognise your contributions once you see some piccies.
Thanks in advance,
Errol.
Sorry about the edit, but I forgot to sign it.

G'day to you too! Welcome aboard, yup, pics are pretty much the going price. Especially when you get it done and can take some of it in action in the "outback". Looking forward to seeing your build. Don't make us break out our blunt spoons! Doug

Thank you for the welcome.
Juneaudave, you have the Aussie lingo pretty-well spot on. I was a member of a Lion's club in another country town and we had a bloke from Alaska visit with a ton of photos and a few stories. He was a top bloke, but he wasn't too keen on our mongrel hot weather, so we had to send him back.
Again, thank you for the welcome and I hope I am able to contribute somehow.
Errol.

Hi Errol, welcome aboard. Yes, send us pics, gotta see those pics. I won't get stupid and caution you about not having the round side down and the tires up in the air. (down-under). Good to hear that there are a growing number of teardrop builders in your part of the world. There should be some way for all of you to get together sometime. Good luck on your build, and remember, wood is good!
