Hi. I don't have a teardrop, but I do have a van and cargo trailer. One day I'd like to convert the trailer something like Kevin's. Good job there Kevin. In 2004 I couldn't walk, but have since gotten new knees, my first kayak, a van to live in, and a cargo trailer for all my stuff. And an "air card!" Have finished kayaking AZ and CA and am headed to OR and WA. Getting some good ideas here... and maybe I'll run into some of you on the road.

I know the Wenatchee/Leavenworth area well... well, pretty well. My son lived in Leavenworth and for a time was a waiter at Gustav's. I haven't rafted the river yet, my boys wouldn't let me go in 2001 due to my bad knees. Now I got bionic knees so intend to do the raft trip. I have not done any whitewater kayaking, and can't say I really want to... as I have a 12' OK Scrambler XT sit-on-top. Probably wouldn't fare to well in that river. I have also camped in Icicle ... and done a few hikes there. My son lives in Wenatchee now. He knows the mountains well. My other son lived in Kirkland, where I used to live. I have a grandchild in Wenatchee I haven't seen yet... so will be heading that way.

I'll be watching for you.

Charlene,
I was going to suggest the Wenatchee area. The water's a little high but the rafters have been hitting the rivers for a couple of weeks now. Hopefully I will see you out there.

I will post here when I get to the Leavenworth/Wenatchee, WA area. Decided yesterday to build a firewood box for the tounge of my trailer... instead of buying a metal one. I have lots of left over lumber I was just going to give away... but this will use up most of it. Anyone have any diagrams for such a thing?
