My wife and I are looking for a away to get back into camping, so far the tear drop solution seems to be where we are heading.

I'm generating a list of stuff I need to acquire, and next month we are renting a littleguy trailer for a test run.

Wish me luck :)

Welcome. I went from tent camping to teardrop camping as I got, um, more mature. My first TD was a LittleGuy, and I just built my second tear.

Where in Jersey, BTW. I was born up there, outside of Philly in Glassboro.

Test driving a TD is smart. TDers swear by their choice. TTTers swear by theirs.

We're in Cherry Hill, and also will be renting next month for the gathering that Coop spoke about. We're going to try to step down out of a pop-up.

Where in NJ are you?

I might just do that Coop, that is right in the middle of the times that my wife gave as acceptable :)

That's cool. We head up that way to do a little whitewater paddling in Lambertville and Scudder's Falls, when we're just gonna be out for an hour or 3.

Also - if you guys really want to get a good look at all that's out there - you really ought to at least stop in to the gathering. Folks there are REALLY friendly - we dropped in on a gathering in CT in July to see what kinds of teardrops and what the sizing of them all were. People were extremely welcoming and friendly.

My wife's favorite restaurant is in Lambertville, the Siam Thia restaurant.

Who in NJ rents Little Guys. I'd like to do the same before buying or building. I'm also a newbie to the TD but have previously traveled with a Westphalia. Needed to downsize because I'm semi-retired and usually travel solo.
