Newbie Teardrop owner in Phoenix

I just took delivery on a '47 KIT homebuilt after dreaming of teardrops for years!! Soo excited ... took her out to Lost Dutchman State park for an overnighter and now can't wait to hit the road further afield.

I tow her (no name yet) with my 2004 Honda Element and hardly know she's there. I was a bit apprehensive at first but we roll along the highway just great. Just have to figure out how to back up, tho

Hoping to meet some of the Phoenix locals on this forum in person some time.

Yep, got a few pictures and as soon as I figure out how to post here, will put some up.

My brother found, what we think is a Puck, at an estate sale bought it and will be fixing it up for some off road camping.

Hello Laura,
Got a gathering coming up in Parker, AZ at Buckskin State Park Dec. 4th, 5th & 6th. Bring it out and enjoy a 'kick back' weekend with the 'Arizona Round Up' group. Most are from the Phoenix area.

Welcome Laura,

What general area of phoenix are you in? I'm in peoria. Come up to 83rd ave and Beardsley some saturday nite between 5-8pm. (Safeway shopping center) There are usually some TD's there. Cabelas is on the 11/14 and Parker is on 12/4-6.

Hope to see you at one or all of these.

Laura:

Arizona is a great launching zone and the people that trailer from the
AZ RounduP to the Tearjerkers are Kewl to hang with. Just hook uP and
come on into their friendly little trailer atmosphere. No pressure is the
hallmark of the Zonies that frequent the trailer gatherings. Happy hours
and snacks do go well to facilitate smiles of many in the group.

 Look forward to seeing you down the camping road in Arizona. 8)
