Conestoga,
Hey great to finally see someone interested in Teardrops in my own back yard. This is a great site for getting lots of info and ideas. I got plenty of ideas when I built my Tear from this site.
Hey you should join the TearJerkers and attend some gatherings in the spring. See some Tears up close and personal. Its in the heading above bottom line. I have been to one gathering and we had a ball. Great people.
Happy New Year,
Bill and Marijo :applause:
Hope to see you on the road.

Hi everyone and thanks for the warm welcome.

The SnowFest sounds like fun. Too early to commit, but it's being added to the calendar. Thanks!

Welcome, Conestoga! Your name sounds like Lancaster County. I'm in Centre County, near Penn State. You'll have fun here!

Howdy neighbor! I'm in Clearfield county... I chose Conestoga because I was thinking about the wagons and the amazing people who traveled with them. I like to think of the Conestoga wagon as America's first RV. It was even amphibious! Sort of. :D

I did google before choosing "Conestoga", but I didn't get any obvious hits as the word is used a lot and seems generic.
Now I've found out that Conestoga is a brand name for 5th-wheel RVs, and that's too close for comfort.

So if it's possible I'd like to change my nick. How do I go about it?

Conestoga, that RV manufacturer has no trademark rights on the name, if that's what's bothering you. The wagon pictured in your sig was the REAL original, conestoga was a type of wagon, not a brand.
I think it's a cool nickname

Well, if you go way back in history . . .Conestoga wagons were produced by a couple brothers by the name of Studebaker
