My wife and I decided to stop paying for hotels and convert our little 8 x 5 enclosed trailer into a stealth camper, we have some ideas and will probably borrow some from the more experienced builders.

Welcome to the group and yes there are lots of ideas to borrow just remember to return them.
I was tempted to say you were in the wrong place because most of us want to be noticed and are in some cases quite shall we say flamboyant.

I don't see anything wrong with showing the results of creativity and hard work, I just don't want to be seen sneaking out of town hauling a T&TTT while using sick days, also, I'm pretty sure this is not going to be my first and only built.
