Hello from Kansas

Postby Blkpwdernut » Tue Feb 09, 2010 1:31 pm

Newbie here, stumbled on this website from a link on vandwellers. First a little about me, I have been a Ks guardsman for nearly 20 years and they are fixing to put this old grunt out to pasture. I have lots of hobbies, Amature Radio, bow building, hunting and fishing to name but a few.
What I am looking to do once the Guard gets through with me is travel, (been lots of places thru out my career but never got to "see" much if that makes any sense) so I am looking to replace my diesel guzzler with a more economical pickup and build a teardrop. Thanks for reading

Welcome, Blkpwdernut!

I spent 5 years in Wichita one night! Was stationed at McConnell AFB, went to WSU, and worked for Beech Aircraft! Loved most everything about Kansas, except the lack of mountains.

What part of the state do you call home?
God Bless

Thanks for the warm welcome! Just a little aside, with the hit the aircraft industry has taken in the last few years the scenery is getting worse
