Now to introduce myself to everyone else..

Hello all, I read alot of the post here before joining and am sure I will fit in. A couple of days ago I was looking on ebay and a little trailer all made of wood caught my eye. The little thing intrigued me so much that I started researching it. Since then ( a little over a week ago) I have made a rough sketch of the outside and the galley, found a trailer (an old camper) ARISTOCRAT I think. I hauled it over 800 miles from our family farm in TN to my new place in TX. I tore everything off except the floor, aired up the tires, bolted on some lights and took off!

My plan was, if I had any trouble I would just leave it!!!! Anyway the trailer measures 7x12 now that is a little big for a teardrop but I plan on modifying the frame a bit . Now I have alot of plans in my head that I need to get onto paper. One major thing that I want to incorporate is the ability haul my Harley, not inside but crossways either on the front or rear, it weighs about 650 lbs.

I look forward to any and all suggestions and comments and also I am a maintenance contractor and have aquired alot of knowledge in my short 29 years (I'm an 80 model) So I look forward to helping out here anyway that I can.

Regards,

Hey Bo,

Welcome to the forum. Got any pictures of the trailer so far? We never believe anyone is building unless they got pictures.

One of the first questions, looks like a passel of children, are they all going to be housed inside? If so then a bunk room at one/both end(s) will absorb a good bit of length. If you keep width all can be accommodated including mom and dad cross wise.
That if I remember is the intent/design of this one

There is at least one other (wide and long) in that slide show that would also lend itself as a design and is a woody.

This is from the Tri-State Tearjerkers gathering last year
