Hello From Northern IL

I believe I first time I saw a teardrop was on the show RV Crazy.

I thought about building one and even started designing it, but I was afraid I would start but never finish it. So I decided to kept an eye out for one on Ebay. Finally one the size I wanted, pretty much within my price range came up and I bought it. It's a Little Guy 6 wide Sport.

I'm really excited about getting out on our first camping trip with it. :woohoo:

Welcome! We're going to try out the Cooler Near the Lake gathering--it will be our first. We're in Southern Wisconsin (near Whitewater/Janesville area). Congratulations on finding a teardrop! Not easy to do around here. Looks very nice and I'm sure you'll enjoy it very much.

Welcome! I'm from Aurora -- and I'm doing my first event at the Sheboygan thing too. April 23. Come join us! Look for any teardrops limping along the side of the road, for those of use who haven't done this before (but who don't PLAN on having any trouble!)

The Sheboygan event sounds like fun, I'll look into it.

My first trip with the camper will be down to Mark Twain Lake Indian Creek Recreation Area, April 9th weekend. There's a Geocaching Mega event going on that weekend.

P.S. contact me before you reserve a spot at Sheboygan --- I may have to give my reservation up to somebody.

Will do, but most likely if we go I won't be making reservations. It looks pretty open right now for that weekend.
