New guy from the Hudson Valley

I have started converting a FVN 7x22 Haulmark trailer. My wife and I are going to make a trip across country this year. Our children are all out of the house, with the youngest serving in the Military overseas.
I started a blog for the build and I try to update it often. The trailer will have an electrical system, AC and DC, water system with shower, Air conditioning, fully insulated, so far I am having fun building it, BUT any ideas would be appreciated.

If I put NY people normally assume the City, which couldn't be farther from the truth. I am about a 1/2 mile from CT and 2 miles from MA right in the Mtns.
Lived in NC for a few years a long time ago, TOO hot for me.
