Hi Folks

Hi Folks, I'm KT and just impressed with this site. I am an avid camper, own a fifth wheel 07" Wildcat that hasn't been used in 2 years. I tow it but that's the problem. My husband can't go too often "work, work, work! So I camp in my Toyota rav with a SUV Tent by Sportz. BUT I told my husband I want to build a teardrop. I do woodworking and would love to know how to begin. What kind of trailer to get, what are the regulations and just how to get it going.

Yes I'm a lady but I'm versatile and just love a challenge. My present project is rebuilding my chicken coop and garden fence and corn house.

Well hope to exchange with some of you.
Be safe and healthy! :R

Hi KT
Welcome, Sounds like you can do most anything. Thats great. The first thing is to pick a size you want, shape, and then the frame.

You will have to get together with bobhenry (Bob) on this site, he will tell you how to put your corn house on a trailer.

You are going to find a lot of help here and a lot of nice folks.
The first thing you need to get is a camera tho, we all love pictures!

Erv

There are an increasing number of folks that move up from a fifth wheel or motor home to a teardrop and a lot of us that tented and want hard sides and a few more creature comforts.

check out my link below. There are also many others who have build sites that might give you ideas.

There are also other small trailers like Scamps that can be found on craigs list that are a bit bigger, but still easy to tow and save you the building part.
