Purchased Route 66 Teardrop

Postby annsailor » Mon May 10, 2010 7:29 pm

We purchased our first teardrop trailer two weeks ago and moved it to Southern California from Branson, MO. Yes, it is THE Route 66 teardrop.

Our first trip is Memorial Day weekend to Pismo Beach. Looking forward to our teardrop excursions.

Hello from Long Beach, CA

Postby annsailor » Tue May 11, 2010 2:46 pm

We have already had our share of lookylous. I even caught people taking pictures of it. Then it sparked a business idea. The trailer could be my "burro". I could charge $1 to take a picture next to it. ;- )

I definitely need to do a photo shoot in Santa Monica, western teminus of Route 66. I think they would be great.

Ann, Dennis thought you would like this photo. That is the photo taken right before I burst into tears  Anyway We must change our own avatar now. will find something special again....you know Dennis, it has to be just right! Seems though there are plenty of other tiny travel trailers at about 18 ft so we will not be shunned for now. :o Queenie Jeanne

Hi Dana

Postby annsailor » Thu May 13, 2010 10:29 am

We had a snowstorm in Western New Mexico, Arizona, Monument Valley Area. We couldn't find a place to camp. So, we spent the night in a Holiday Inn on Navajo Reservation land and woke up to snow. Chuck has a great picture during the snow.

We will be staying at Linda Fort's B&B over Thanksgiving. Maybe, we can see you at that time.
