Hello.

Hello everyone. I am from Colorado and have been looking at camper options for me and my fiancée to go places and do things. I never thought I would be so interested in Teardrops. I became interested in them while I have been looking for a old style 60's 70's Apache Pop Up. Pretty much what I am looking for in a camper is the ability to tow it with my 2002 Ford Focus so I wouldn't have to upgrade my vehicle just to tow.

I am going to try and buy one. My budget is going to be $1500. Eventually I wouldn't mind building my own to make it totally customizable to our needs. Do you think its better to buy your first Teardrop or to read into it and make one yourself, because it is a new field but I do have a fancy for building things.

Anyways thanks for reading. Ill be reading up.

Welcome! So how about the fiancee? Is she on board with a teardrop? Maybe you can get her hooked on the forum!

Welcome from the Wet Coast! CO is a great place; been there 3 times since 2005; great place for rockhounding.

Apache trailers are nice rigs; hard to destroy (but I did)

Tearhead - Ha! She is not really the Internet forum type while I seem to have countless accounts on countless forums for countless topics. As for the Teardrop, as long as it keeps the playa dust out and doesn't put too much of a hole in the pocket shes happy!

Ageless - CO is a great place. We are looking to move to Cali within the next 5-6 years though (I know so close).

Apaches are sooooo hard to find! They go so fast. I love the idea of a light weight hard sided no bells and whistles camper.
