Hi to all, My name is Joe, from Chaska MN.
I've been looking for a long time now and decided to make the move.
Ordered the 5x10 silver shadow from Little Guy, with minor modification to remove the inside upper cabinets for a flat shelf. wanted to have the option to take along my new and first grandson.
I personally checked out the camp-inn, beautiful. Big woody's, little guy, and on a trip to Cal. saw the So-Cal's. Seemed like the Silver Shadow would best fit my budget and needs. Also the fact that I am 6'4.5" one of the few that allowed the bed size.
love camping, and alternative dwellings, in my younger days I lived on boats in SW Fl.
Very excited to get this camper still 4 weeks out. I am a chef by trade, so far my choice for cooking has been open fire, cast iron, and 2 logs with the rack from our oven. But still plan on a full galley with time. Would appreciate any suggestions on the right stove, so far like the combo I've seen at the bass shop.
well that's all for now, been reading this site for so long feels kinda like I know you already. can't waite to get to meet you. Thanks to all the contributors for your great Ideas.

Welcome Joe,
My daughter used to live in Stewart, so I would go through your town frequently on my way to her house.

As a chef, if you come up with any new camping recipes, feel free to share!

I'm sure your new toy will be worth the wait!

Greetings from the Wet Coast! I also take the grandson along many times. Great way to stay active and pass along a bit of knowledge.

Congrats!

Am looking forward to pics of your Silver Shadow and gourmet camp meals.

Especially the latter.

Welcome from Rosemount, Minnesota. We have gatherings coming up. On the T&TTT side here, Minnesota and Wisconsin are split up. On the Tearjerker side, we're together in the St. Croix Chapter, so it's well worth it to watch both.

I think you may be talking about the camp stove that I have.......

I love, love, love it !!!
