Welcome to the fun Jeremiah,

I think 3/4 wall with a sandwich construction like you are talking about is overkill. I used 1/4 on outside, 3/4 insulation and 1/8 in inside. If there is a next one, it will be 1/8 outside, insulation and 1/8 inside.
Just my opinion.
With that said, remember to build what you want, because after all, it is your camper and only you have to like it.

Looking forward to following your built treat.

Chubby was built using 3/4 sub sideing and a strip of 1x4 to seperate a void for electrical runs and a space for 3/4 blue board insulation. The 3/4 void will allow you to use the 1/2 depth carlon electrical boxes for a neat looking 120 volt electrical install. And the interior was 1/4 luan attached to the 1x4's. The 1x4 stands proud about 1" around the doors to give the door a surface to shut tight to (creates a door jamb) . I think you are on the right track so welcome and get started making saw dust :D

I got mine finished last year just in time for hunting season.
If you're anything like me, you'll LOVE sitting around the tear listening to the Razorbacks. It's a great feeling of accomplishment.

I didn't think of a firewood rack because I just chunk it in the back of the truck, but that's a great Idea.

Welcome to the forum, from a part of Arkansas where it didn't rain today. Are you down south?
I started building a couple of days ago, and did the undercoating on my floor today (first coat). I used asphalt post sealer from Tractor Supply. It is a lot easier to work with than tar, and I'll put on a second coat because I have enough left to do another.
Look forward to seeing your progress.

I'm in Pleasant Plains, sort of. A few miles north of town, on the side of a hill. Lived in Batesville about 20 years ago, though I grew up in Florida. I've been here for about a year.

Greetings fro the Wet Coast.

Insulation is not just for keeping the cold out. In your clime; it may also keep the heat out.

Properly bonded, a sandwich wall is much stronger than just a single sheet plus you get a good deal of sound-proofing, saves weight, gives you space to run wires.
