I have been lurking for a couple months and decided to join. I'm not ready to start a camper just yet but ones in my future.

ageless, I like reading your posts, could you tell me anything about the
"Model Shop" at Boeing [sp] ? How about an English wheel and if it's in use there.

Welcome oicu812 from a fellow Hoosier :shake hands: , you plan a visit to our next gathering at White Water state park by Brookville lake Jul30-Aug 1. You'd get to see lots of teardrops and get plenty of ideas.

P.S. What's the name we can call you

I have my shop space occupied with my current project, but I have two tiny trailers layed out in my head, lol.
Both are metal, no plywood, good with metal, wood not so much...hey just had another ideal, make that three trailers in my head BaaHaahaa.
Stand-by.

Just so you know (and I'm no expert, having only been to one gathering thus far), there seem to be plenty of tent campers and other kinds of campers who come to gatherings while they're building or deciding whether to buy or build. We're swinging through the Whitewater event on our way home to Wisconsin from a trip to the Smokies. I think there might be a spot or two left, but it looks like it's turning into a biggish event.
