Finally Getting Started in VA

Postby pawp » Fri Jul 30, 2010 7:11 pm

The tear is started!
We are Richard and Jean Carr in Louisa, VA.
We building a 8' x 56" modified modernistic. The tear has two names. My side is Restpit --Jean's is Twilight Zone. I will be using a sandwich wall with aluminum sides. We were inspired by Phil's Napsack's vinyl roof and decided to use it too. The plans are drawn, layout board done, framing wood cut and planed, and glue ups are started. Jean has even started a travel quilt for the bed.
We just remodeled our kitchen and like it so much we will be building the galley to match.
Thanks everyone for the great info, sources and inspiration. I hope to finish the build during the winter, and will be posting pics as soon as possible. :D :D

Welcome from Ashburn. Looking forward to those pictures. Ours is also under construction. We're going with vinyl for the roof, too...pretty sure it's a rule here in VA. Image
