Hello from So Jordan UT

Top of the Mornin' to you!
First, let me say thanks to everyone who has contributed and made this board pretty cool. I'm most appreciative. I'm retired, and excited as hell about converting a Cargo Trailer. I lived in Alaska for 20+ years and done way more than my share of fishing and hunting. Been back in UT for 13 years and done zero hunting and fishing. This summer friends of ours invited us to hook up with them at Hell's Canyon on the ID & Ore border. We had a fantastic time and the camping and fishing bug had me by the throat. With the resources at hand I would have to be creative to make this work. I plan to use my car, a six speed 4 cyl Ford Fusion, and build up a 5x8 CT. I don't have the trailer yet, but do have a 5X8 on order. I have gotten so many great ideas from t&ttt that I just about have the plan all worked out in my head. I'm impressed with the courtesy shown by everyone on this board, most refreshing.... Thank you.

Best Regards,
Jeff Leavitt, (SoJordanJeff)

Hey Jeff,
Welcome. I've not been a member long but I'm sure you're gonna get a lot of help from these guys.

These little trailers and the people with big hearts just draw you in and make you family.

Again, Welcome.

Hi Jeff: First, welcome and thanks for joining the family here. As soon as you start your build, you will start to be able to breath more freely as that choke hold you are feeling will let up more and more the farther you get into your trailer conversion. I have to let you know that it will return just before you finish the conversion though. Then it will completely go away after you go on your first camping/fishing trip. That is the good part of the build, but you already know that, don't you?

You are right, you will find good info on here to help you through the stages of your CT build.
There are so many great folks here to help you when you get in trouble and need help. ;)

Welcome Jeff! You will find a lot of good conversion ideas here. Hope to meet you somewhere down the road at a gathering or a Utah camping area.
