Hi All,
I just joined since I am working on the planning of a 5 X 10 aluminum covered tear drop to pull behind my Chevy SSR and Plymouth Prowler.
The first 2 questions i have is what is the clear inside width required for a queen matress and do you glue down the aluminum cladding?

With a 5 wide a queen is kinda tight and making it up is difficult.

One thing you need to remember is you are in a teardrop the walls allow you to use all of the bed. A full is quite adequate if you are sleeping on a queen at home.

A full at 54 would be fine and make my build alot easier but I need 80" long since I am tall, do air mattresses come 54" X 80"?
