Dr. C-Dawg,
I love your plans. If you are gonna go primitive you are certainly gonna need wine, if it's not screw top, don't forget the corkscrew. Good luck on the build.
Sandy

Welcome!

There is a VA chapter (Old Dominion) on Tearjerkers.net. They are coming to a tri-chapter meet on June 10-12th in the Shenandoah National Park area. We welcome everyone, including envious tenters!! I am part of the Chesapeake Bay Chapter and the West Virginia (Mountaineers) Chapter is coming along too.

We have a great bunch of folks who have lots of fun.

Hugs,
Ratkity

Welcome! Your plans look great and well thought out!
Elizabeth C. wrote: If everything goes according to plan this trailer will be 5 feet wide , five tall and 10 feet long. It will have a wine rack, a basement, etc...

However, in the teardropper spirit you may want to consider building a wine-cellar to kill two birds with one stone!

Elizabeth: I WOULD NOT sell the Chevy wagon!! You should try to find a vintage teardrop to go with it. We sometimes pull our 46 Modernistic with our 76 Ford pickup, camping, car shows, and cruiseins. We have four Ford Fairlane sedans, 62, 63, 64, waiting restoration but would like to find a Fairlane wagon of that vintage. Got that idea after seeing Gage with his 59 Ford wagon. A car that has been owned for that long should not be sold. Looks good too. We met a couple young ladies while working on a movie set two years ago that had a Chevy 2 wagon about that year. KEEP IT!!! Bob

The car

Postby Tim and Sandy Dugan » Tue Feb 08, 2011 3:47 pm

Hey guys, Welcome to the group. I know you'll love building your Teardrop. We built our last summer and look forward to using it this year.
I do agree with Bob though, You may want to keep the car. I sold my Hot Rod last spring and then built our Teardrop. Now I'm coming up with plans for a cool driver to pull the camper.
Have fun and please put on lots of pictures for us.
Tim

[quote="Tim and Sandy Dugan"]Hey guys, Welcome to the group. I do agree with Bob though, You may want to keep the car. Maybe we should start a poll on this issue. Keep the car or not. On the other hand, we will be in Virginia in April, and a Chevy II is about the same size as a Ford Fairlane
