Hi Everyone ... brand new to this site obviously and still trying to find my way around.
I currently own a 67 Shasta LoFlyte but am really wanting a small canned ham camper. I've tried to find one but they're either very expensive (aka over my budget) or nonexistant.
So, being that hubby and I demolished a 68 Compact last year due to the fact that it was a disaster to start with, I'm thinking it might be more economical in the long run to just build one on the existing chassis.
Does anyone have any thoughts? I've been trying to find plans online and was led to this forum. However, this is where the newbie in me comes out .. where can I find plans to build a canned ham?
I don't want a teardrop (no offense to teardrol lovers), I'm looking more for a traditional 10 foot canned ham. I have no clue how to even begin a project like this but I know I want one that I can put an aluminum skin on since being in Nebraska, it's quite windy year round and we get snow/rain/ice in the winter.
Anyway, nice to "meet" all of you!
Mary
