Hello, my name is John, I live in Fife Scotland about 12 miles from StAndrews the home of Golf
I am 62 and started building my Teardrop about a year ago,hopefully to have a small camper to use in my retirement in 2 years.
I hope to have it finished this year but no hurry
you will notice it is a budget build either using materials left over from jobs we have done or whatever I can scrounge
I will post photos once I have worked out how to

Nice to have you aboard John.

Have you managed to get that camera working to post some photos? After little camping trailers, teatdroppers like nothing better than photos. <hint>

I'm in Glasgow if you want a look at another tear or need to find materials locally.

Hi Big Al
Its a long time since i heard that one(alright neeb) must have been when i worked at Rosyth Dockyard some 30 years ago.
Im fine , Regarding photos i put some on the TCGB site under Johns New Build . couldnt get them to go on T&TTT site
Nearly finished the build but will have to get something else to use as a tug . The LWB transit is not really what is required , could fit the tear in the back.
wont be using it till the spring next year so will definately finish it this winter,/
Might start to build another one then as there are a lot of things i would do differently

Hi John, I had a look at your build thread on TCGB. A nice job indeed. Are you finished yet?

I see your point about towing with the transit. Since the transit is so tall, you could build a standie for trailer #2.

I'm also thinking of building another. I mentioned to missus-big-al earlier tonight and she looked at me blankly. Maybe I should finish this one first.

Anyway, I look forward to seeing your final build photos. keep up the good work!
