Newbie From Michigan

Hello Everyone,

I wish I would have found this forum and Tear Jerkers back in May. As I would have joined ya'll for the Michigan Camping weekend. Im not far from Marine City, So I'll have to wait until Sept 30 to join ya then.

I purchase my Sunline Sunspot in April this year. From a wonderful vintage camper buff in Mt Morris MI. I just love this little camper and its saved me a ton of money in hotel bills. As I show dogs in MI, Ohio and Indiana a couple times a month.

You wouldnt believe how many times Ive been ask if it was for sale. And everywhere I stop, someone wants to see inside. Its been a lot of fun so far and the grand babies love camping in it to. As its just their size. LOL

I dont know why this picture is coming out so large, I resized it to 640 x 480 any suggestions?

Too bad the picture doesnt show the purple flames on the front window cover LOL

Welcome to the forum.
Don't limit yourself to only the Michigan Tearjerkers :D

The Buckeye chapter is having a gathering in a couple of weeks and we will be there and I would expect we will have folks from Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Indiana as well as who knows where else.

Carol there is a link at the top of this page for TearJerkers that will let you access all of the chapters and takes you with a couple of steps to http://www.tearjerkers.net/new_forum/index.php
In our experience TearJerkers is a very friendly inclusive group that is wildly diverse.
Boogie in the Hills is June 16-19 and the one two years ago was our first outing with TearJerkers and a great camp ground. http://www.tearjerkers.net/new_forum/vi ... f=3&t=4284

Guess I'll have to wait for an admin to approve my registration. As I went to the link and I must be registered to view.

Thanks for sending me the links...I will check it out.

Thank you for he invite Dan, but that is over a 7 hour trip for me and the weekend of the 29th I have plans to attend a dog show in Simpsonville KY then off to Nashville TN. And with the price of gas and a truck that gets 13 mpg OUCHIE . I'll probably attend the Brighton MI and Marine City MI events.

Dear Miss Ooopsy_Daisy,
I don't come on this forum very often so I'm sorry I missed this thread until Dan told me about it just now.
I am the chapter director in Michigan for Tear Jerkers. We're happy to have you interested in our group. FYI: Someone else volunteers to handle the website registrations. If that doesn't come through shortly, please contact me.
Yes, too bad you didn't attend the May gathering in Warren Dunes since it was a lot of fun. The multi-chapter Crossroads of America gathering in July should be a blast as will the gathering we're having in Algonac at the end of September where we will watch the freighters float by. You can read about it at http://www.tearjerkers.net/new_forum/vi ... f=8&t=3620.
I hope you can make it to the Algonac gathering.
As Shadow Catcher mentioned, there are gatherings in other Tear Jerker chapters so by all means, attend as many gatherings as you can regardless of where they will be held. Our chapters in Ohio and Indiana (and elsewhere) have wonderful gatherings with exceptionally nice people...just like here in Michigan.
When time permits, please PM me your full name, home address, and email address so I can get you in my system.
Look forward to meeting you..and your show dogs.
Karl
