hello, Im new kid on the block. am interested in building a Pico Light to tow around America behind a 1995 H-D Dyna-Glide I've been touring 15 monnths now and have the oportunity to build one. comments or wisdom appreciated.

Welcome! Sounds like the Pico Light would be a perfect fit.

Andrew designed the Pico Light after the Piccola that was from Germany, I think. Andrew, do you have any pictures of the Piccola handy?

Pictures? Yeah, we got pictures.

I went to find some in my album and saw that Wimperdink had recently posted a photo of a Piccolo modified for towing behind a Vespa:

The German Piccolo and the nearly identical French Ailette:

The Piccolo was originally made in two parts so that it could be used as a work trailer during the week and converted to a camper at the weekend. Most frightening of all was the idea that the bottom half was watertight and could be used as a boat:
