Hello, London calling

Hi everyone
Been reading your posts for a few weeks now so in for a penny in for a pound!
Having just given up my previous hobby(playing guitar and singing in pubs). I decided I needed a new hobby to keep me from under my wife's feet.
Back in 1969 when I was at school I remember making a wooden polar bear so naturally woodwork was my obvious choice. Next- what to build? Lots and lots of shelves in every nook and cranny of the house, one wonky side table with tapered legs (one of them on the wrong way round so ever so slightly unbalanced).

Then I came upon your site fully of friendly but more importantly forgiving people and I thought "this would be a nice project". so here I am.

I am really just starting out now and I am at the stage of buying expensive tools and sneaking them into my shed when the wife is not looking.

I have put in a bid for a trailer on EBAY so "starters orders" and were off.

We're having a trailer gathering in the Forest of Dean next weekend.... Whilst there aren't going to be loads of trailers going...there's going to be a fair selection of vary nice trailers in attendance. You'd be most welcome to come and join us....
