New to it all in SoCal

Postby WCMoto » Sun Oct 02, 2011 10:05 pm

Hello,
I've recently (and rather suddenly) become the owner of a Wells Cargo 7x12 motorcycle trailer. I hope to use it to haul my motorcycles as well as camp. Since I know next to nothing about camping or trailers I have lots to catch up on.
Pricing adding a window and electrical came out to $1500+ so I am hoping I can learn some things here. I'm not a tough woman to please, an extension cord for power would be just fine.
Plan to varnish the interior wood panels and possibly carbon fiber wrap the side door since nothing I've tried has removed the baked on glue residue from long gone decal.

Nice trailer. I'll give you what you have in it plus a dollar, you can make a profit, and not have to deal with the glue residue on the door. I'm in Simi Valley and I can leave now to pick up the trailer. I don't have paper money cash but can write a check or we can "barter". I have two sons, one is a college grad (just started his first job) and the other is a college student and "part time" Marine Corporal. Your choice. I'm keeping Suzy though.

Cheers,

Gus

Thanks, but wait til I pull it apart and muck up trying to install a window, then I will probably be ready to talk.
I didn't know we could barter our kids for vehicles. Might have been good info during my kids teen years.

I'm over in Torrance.
You all have me quite inspired. I'm studying hard but so far all the knowledge I've acquired is leading to more and more questions.
Trying not to pull anything apart before I have things lined up.....
