Looking for Tear Drop

Postby wanacamp » Fri Oct 21, 2011 7:36 pm

Hi, all, I am retired (for 2 yrs now) and love the outdoors. Really want to acquire a used TD which I have to pull with Honda Accord - - I have seen in previous research that there is a size that can be. I have not found anything for sale in my general area (North Central Texas) in my recent searches. I don't want to drive over 500 miles to catch one. Would really appreciate tips if you run across something suitable so I can buy it and join a TD club.

Hi Nancy, welcome aboard. There are a number of teardrop manufacturers all across the US, you might drop them an email and see if there are any available in your neck of the woods that you might be interested in. Good luck on your search, and I'll look forward to seeing you on your maiden journey to the west coast. :-)

Welcome Nancy,
There is a gathering this coming weekend near Shreveport. There will be many trailers there, like 40 or more. I think there is a trailer for sale within the South Central group. Might be worth a look see.

There is a Little Guy dealer not that far south of Fort Worth in Burnet. Here is a link to their website http://www.youparkwesell.com Little Guy produces trailers in a number of sizes, at least one that can be towed by a motorcycle, so am sure they have a size that could be towed by an Accord, but be sure to check your vehicles tow rating as to what Honda says.
