Hi. I'm Troy Beeler. From Knoxville TN. I grew up camping. And have all my life. I have been camping out of the back of my land cruiser for the past 11 years. and it has been ok. But the old cruiser is about dead. and sucks gas like crazy. I have been looking at teardrops alot. My wife and i think one would fit us well. I really would like to build one. But time is an issue. also having an old house. That i'm fixing up to move into. sooooooo. I might just buyone??????

Welcome, Troy.
If you get one a 5' wide will be more comfortable for 2 as it holds a queen mattress.
If you can fix a house you can build one much cheaper than buying one.
I built ours on a 14' boat trailer with a 4' axle(see album).
Happy trails,
Hoyt

The Knoxville area, by the way, is beautiful country.

Hey Troy, what part of town are you from? I'm in Karns. I got on here about a month ago. I have my frame done and should have the floor on in a couple weeks. Would love to touch base and compare plans.
