Postby snal » Sat Nov 12, 2011 10:02 am

Hello from western NC! I'm Snal~...and I'm about to start a major camper/toy hauler project that I hope to have ready to roll by spring.
I'll post more in the appropriate "build journal" sub forum.

Shal,

It's good to have you on board. We look forward to your build.

BTW, I have relatives in North Carolina but have never been there. From their pictures it is an absolutely beautiful state! Are the trees turning colors yet?

Take care,
Tom

Hey Tom...I'm in the Asheville area, and the leaves are all but gone now. Bits of color here and there, but mostly gone. We peaked around the end of October. The colors lasted longer than normal this year...always a plus :)

Hey from East Asheville

Hey Snal,

Welcome to the T&TTT group - I'm in East Asheville. There are a few locals who are into the campers. Be sure to check out the Southern Appalachian Chapter of the Tearjerkers.net, to keep up with the local gatherings and events! Keep us posted!

Thanks Al.
I'm also on the east side. Actually, about 1.5 miles from where your profile pic was taken...BRP bridge over Riceville?

Hey! That's a good eye! Yes, took a quick hike one afternoon on the Mountain to Sea trail, started from the Folk Art Center on the Blue Ridge Parkway, and yes - That's the stone bridge over Riceville Road! AL.
