Newbie-Shifting Gears

Postby RayMaltby » Sat Mar 03, 2012 9:20 am

I have read through many of the contributions of some obviously talented people.
What a great forum! I have decided to build a Teardrop- my friend has also decided
to build one at the same time. I presently own and use a 30' class C Winnebago but am
looking to supplement that with something simple. I have over the last several years
built cedar stripped canoes, kayaks and most recently hollow stripped surfboards. I believe
these techniques can be used for building the exterior of my teardrop. While I'm very
excited about getting started, I think I will attempt to absorb more of the expertise
in this group before I make any sawdust. Thanks.
