I tripped over the site while doing a search for the vending potential of a teardrop (came across the thread that mentions the hot dog guy). I'm scooping Italian Ice
to help pay bills while I return to college, and heck... I was really kinda thinking about buying the stuff wholesale (from my current employer) and selling it for my own profit.
In Alabama, the regulations are pretty stiff, but scooping ice is on the lighter end of that hammer, not needing a hood or many of the other equipment required for some of the more popular cooked foods.
I wanted something relatively cheap, so I thought about a pushcart.... but I need sinks, so I thought about strapping a pushcart into a small utility trailer with a sink mounted in it... but by then, it looks like a more "finished" appearance would be better, not to mention the cold/dry storage I'd need anyway, for extra product and cups/spoons/napkins. I guess details would best be addressed in their own thread, though, so I'll go poke around to see what's already here first.
