Fl panhandle newbie

Postby msiler » Thu Jun 28, 2012 11:38 pm

I have been full time in a full size rv for 3 years... every time I think about hooking up and hauling my house somewhere for the weekend I crunch the numbers... I can stay at the ritz for the price of diesel these days. I am getting to soft for tent camping and a number of events I like to attend you just cant even get a hotel if you want to... So I am going to build something that I can tow with my daily driver... I am thinking 5x9 teardrop will fill the bill nicely. hopefully I'll be able to haul my bedroom along at still close to 30 mpg  . I have already started by build I will get some pics soon and start a build thread.

Ok link to buld thread http://www.tnttt.com/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=51107

Thanks for the welcome... the only problem with buying other than of course not knowing the quality of the work put in, is not getting to decide how you want it for yourself... Ie.. I dont like the idea of entering my teardrop directly onto my bed.. also really want to be able to sit normally inside when the weather chases me in. be it rain or heat/humidity.
