Sort of new person

I think I was a member of this forum before but when I went to log on I didn't have the correct info. I am sure I forgot something so I registered again and now say I am sort of new. I am located in New Mexico. I bought a teardrop on Ebay almost two years ago. I camped in it for about a year and loved every second. I had some serious electrical issues last summer, took it to a repair shop, paid big money (to me) and they half fixed it. Now I am redoing what they didn't fix correctly and dealing with some leakage issues. I have to replace a good bit of the side wall on one side of the trailer. It seems the repair I had in mind has now grown and continues to grow - but - I love the teardrop and will be leaving New Mexico around the first of August headed to Oregon and hope to spend a month or two or who knows in it. I have been a tent camper for many years and the teardrop makes me thing I have joined the elite of the world. I love the teardrop and hopefully I can get it repaired and ready to go soon! I have found so much good information online. I was really bummed out last year after I had the electrical problem but now I am ready to tackle the problems and move forward. I am even creating a web site and a blog devoted to my teardrop and travels. Hope to find some more great information on this forum.

Welcome Back!
We hope to be going thru New Mexico for the very first time about Aug. 10th and will be behind you by a couple of weeks on our way home thru California , Oregon & Washington.

Looks like you will be going through some beautiful country. Let me know your intended route through NM because with the fires we have been having there are several closures. When you look at the picture of my teardrop it doesn't look like it is going to be road worthy but I am determined!!
