Hiker Chick (back from oblivion)

Postby Hiker Chick II » Tue Jul 03, 2012 9:41 am

Been so long since I've been on TTTT, figured I should reintroduce myself.

The new forum transition did not go smoothly for me - still can't get it to send a new password e-mail to the address it says it has on file. So I created a new identity (Hiker Chick II).

For those who never knew me here, I have a 6-wide Little Guy. There's a long thread ongoing about it in the Teardrop Manufacturers section of the forum. I still have the teardrop but haven't used it since last summer because my dog, Gidget, nearly died last fall from bloat (she's fine now) and lately we've been using a friend's house on the Cheasapeake Bay for weekend getaways.

But have a week-long camp trip scheduled for early August so am getting jazzed about that.

I hope everyone here has been well this past year and that you all have gotten a lot of use out of your tiny trailers. I'm now looking forward to getting reacquainted with the forum.

Glad to have you back. I had noticed that you had not been posting and I was hoping things were all right with you and Gidget.

I'm glad you're back and very glad that Gidget is well. We have to take care of our "kids".

Keep in touch. I've enjoyed reading and re-reading your posts.

Hi Hiker Chick:

Glad your back on here.

I would see you on the Element forum, and you were part of the inspiration for me to get a camper. ;)

Glad your dog is doing better. Do you still have your Element? :)

Hope to see you around more, Cheers

Hi Pappaw,

Yep, still have the Element. Can't ever get rid of it because it matches the teardrop.

And vice versa!

The Element now has 60,000 miles on the odometer. I love it as much as ever.

Wow! I don't know how I missed this in July! Welcome back! Hope you and Gidget are doing well. Please let us know how your August camping trip went; and, of course, a few pics :pictures: would be nice, too!
