A newbie from across the pond

Hi everyone. My name is John and I am about to embark on building a teardrop caravan/trailer. I have bought the trailer base which is 9' 6" x 6' which puts it at the larger end of a Teardrop. I rather stupidly bought one of those discs off the great and noble ebay and what a waste it was. I started to service the brakes today and was rained off unfortunately. I shall post pics and updates as and when.

I used to use a roof tent on top of the land rover with a driveway tent as the daily accommodation and that worked well. I am looking forward to the teardrop experience
