Welcome to the forums.

GL on the build. Whatever you do. DO NOT look at the Hall of Fame Link up top. You’ll see so many good
campers you’ll want to build about 10 of them.

Welcome to this great site. There are many great trailers in your State. Find a gathering and go check them out, ask about them, the Az people are great to find out how to build a nice trailer from. Well good luck with your build and keep us posted on it we love pics. :pictures: :pictures: :pictures:

It looks like we have two Arizona newbies. My name is Adam, I live in Phoenix and now that the summer heat is behind us and my workshop is no longer 120 degrees I'm able to get back to work on my custom teardrop I'm building. Since I started this project I've probably changed gears on my ideas 50 times as to how and what I want for the thing, however, I finally have a concrete plan. A few months ago I got a-hold of a 1964 Ford Galaxy 500 4 door with 62k miles on it, but the bonus is that it has been in a garage for over 25 years and it has lived in the Arizona Desert since day 1. So as you can see my Teardrop build is now surrounding that car which means I'm going to do my best to keep the build ideas era accurate for the 50's - early 60's, which I'm really looking forward to that challenge. What's the old saying? It's not the destination, it's the journey. I'm glad I found you guys here, as I can see any questions I may have no matter how mundane they may be it's good to know I have somewhere to turn. I'm a pretty well versed guy when it comes to building things and using tools and machinery, but I'm also smart enough to know when I'm not smart enough and to go either learn or ask somebody smarter, that's where this great site comes in.:D So with that I look forward to getting to know you. Have a great night.

Hi we're Mike and Carol. We are newbies from Phoenix too. I just sold the old 4X8 and bought the one from Harbor Freight. Just ordered the new grease seals and have read all about them here now too! Looking forward to being a part of the group and getting this project up and running.

We got Buckskin Mountain S.P. coming up the end of the month (first weekend of Dec.) should you newbies want to come and look around and meet some of those from the Phoenix area. Glad to have you stop by, look around and say hi.
