Hello from new guy in Shreveport, LA

I joined the forum several weeks ago - and have been reading lots of posts and thinking how cool it would be to build a teardrop (spent last weekend tent camping with my 7 year old grandson at Garland Scout Ranch - just now getting over being stiff from sleeping on the ground for two days LOL)

Is the LCGVII gathering open to visitors who are not camping? Since it is in my neighborhood I hope to be able to come and see some of your teardrops and maybe take a few pictures.

Welcome Mike! LCG is definitely open to visitors. Please come and take a look around. If you there on Saturday around 5:30-6:00 join us for the pot luck dinner. No need to bring food.

LCG was the first large gathering my wife and I visited. It "sealed the deal" on me building a teardrop trailer.

Well I spent the afternoon and part of the evening Saturday at the Bistineau State Park. Thanks to all who were so gracious in sharing their time and knowledge (and some great food and drink as well)

I enjoyed meeting lots of you -- and seeing some inspiring teardrops in person.

Hope everybody had a safe trip home -- and I'm looking forward to necxt year already
