New Member and just started my Tear

Postby JTROBB » Sat Jan 26, 2013 6:33 am

Hi, I'm Jason and after a camping through a severe storm in a tent I decided it was time to build a Teardrop. the objective is to build a simple but insulated tear. 5x8 four foot tall with no galley, just a shelf in the back.

Jason
Welcome to our little fun house. It's a great group of people! You will find more than enough info on this forum to help with your build. Ask questions anytime you have them. You may get 1, 10 or more answers than you might expect but keep in mind everyone builds a little different. We won't purposely steer you wrong. And good luck with the " simple" plan...most evolve along the construction process.

What he said.

Welcome to the insanity. We just got ours (we bought ours....I don't have time to build) and have thoroughly enjoyed what it has given us. A cheap hotel when traveling, no bed bugs, and a great excuse just to be outside a lot more often.

If your done, be sure I check out the "crossroads of America gathering" here in central indiana. :)

Welcome Jason,
It is tough to add to comments to the above. Great folks, great information, and good times...it does not get any better!
