Newbie in Norfolk U.K.

Hello everybody, hope you are all enjoying your builds.
I'm Martin from Norfolk United Kingdom, otherwise known as Mitchelkitman........ My main hobby is building kit cars.
I attend a few kit car shows in U.K. and became very uncomfortable with being in a tent so the idea of building a temporary living space appealed. A few sheets of foam, buckets of resin and fibreglass matting later I'd made a "Portafold copy" to match my Quantum kit car. I've called the caravan the "Quantumsleep", and used some styling feature from the Quantum - hope you all like my first attempt.
I'm not very experienced with loading photos, and haven't been able to get an image to the Hall of Fame, but hopefully images from my album are below...... I made the classic mistake of taking photos quickly without checking the background, but we all live and learn! :)

Hi Mitchelkitman/Martin,

Welcome to the forum !

Your "Quantumsleep" looks great - a good match to your
Quantum kit car.

I'd suggest that you do a post in "The Hall of Fame" section in the
"Hall of Fame Master List" thread [The first one.] and ask Mike what
you need to do on that score. When one clicks on your title in the HOF,
they get transferred to a photo hosting site - maybe the problem is
with that process or website ?

If you have any pics/documentation of your build, why not do a
build thread in the Build Journal section ?

It doesn't have to be extensive, just enough to give everyone an
idea of your methods and the progress was is fine. Most here will
be very curious as to how you built the "Quantumsleep", especially
those active in the Foamie section.

I was curious what the kit car you built was - and since I had
some time, as I was waiting around for the cable repairman - I
did a little Googling, so I'll include some links for others - and to
save you the time - some links about the Quantum and your
'inspiration' model for your TTT build, the Portafold folding caravan.

Welcome to the forums Martin

I second everything mezmo said in the above post. I would love to see some pictures of your build in progress
my self. I’m build a Teardrop That can expand up a bit for standing room. I been looking for alternative to
wood for the top. Love to take a closer look at your panels.

Ps. I have not had any Strongbow or Marry Down cider in a long while. Can you drink one for me

Hi Terry/junkboy999, thanks for the positive comments. I've put something on the build forum. Like your max headroom (good name). I though of building similar, but simpler ( just a box sliding in a box if that makes sense), but thought it would be difficult to raise it - I had visions of crawling into a 3ft high space, and then lifting it up while I tried to fit holding pegs! I guess gas struts may do it
