i look forward to reading about everyones teardrop. i dont have one yet but would like to try my hand at building one.
i am wondering tho if someone who is not mechanically inclined can build one. thanks in advance for everyones help.
has anyone built from the TY-DEAN plans? these are the plans that i have.

Hey,
Welcome to the board. I think you'll find that anyone can build. Fiberglass body filler covers many sins :D
As for the plans you mentioned, I am not familiar with them. I'd say just use them to get an idea of how things go together, then feel free to change them to suit yourself. there's plenty of build journels and pictures here to inspire you to make something awesome :)

Hey Souper welcome aboard and good luck with your build. I want to give you a shout out for the link to the TY-DEAN plans. I have already started my build with a slightly different , but somewhat similar profile. Even though I am already underway I can use all the help I can get and will be ordering a set of plans from TY-DEAN. Do those plans include wiring diagrams for ac and dc electric systems? Again welcome Lee

And Lee there are very good (simple) wiring diagrams locked into the Electrical section here on the Forum.
Hit print and you will have them to take to your garage?
