Greetings From Seattle

Postby brickmonkey » Sun Feb 24, 2013 11:24 am

Hello,

I've been looking at teardrops for a few years now and took the plunge a few weeks ago and bought a 1946 Sears teardrop trailer off of Craigslist . I wish I could find more information on it and how it looked brand new. I have looked online and not found much about these trailers sold through Sears. The outer fiberglass skin was in bad shape and peeling off but the wood underneath is dry and rot free. My brother and I plan to restore it with an aluminum skin and new cabinets throughout.

Here we go....

Welcome to the forums

You can always trust Sears to sell anything, and everything at some point in time. I never see a Sears TD
my self so dust off the camera and start shooting.
